Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book my wedding hair and makeup?

Most brides book 3–6 months in advance, especially for San Francisco City Hall ceremonies or weekend weddings. I recommend reaching out as soon as you secure your date and ceremony time to guarantee availability.

Do you offer hair and makeup trials?

Absolutely. Trials are the perfect time to test your look before your wedding day. I typically recommend scheduling your trial 4–8 weeks prior to your ceremony

How long does hair and makeup take on the wedding day?

For one bride, I usually schedule about 2–2.5 hours for full hair and makeup. This allows time for skin prep, hair styling, and finishing touches so your morning feels relaxed and enjoyable.

What kind of makeup do you use?

I work exclusively with luxury and professional products, including Dior, Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury, and Chantecaille. Every product I use is long-wearing and HD-friendly, perfect for photos and all-day wear.

Do you work with all hair types and skin tones?

Absolutely. Inclusivity and comfort are top priorities in my work. I’m experienced with a wide range of complexions, skin types, and hair textures — every bride deserves to feel radiant.

How do I secure my date?

A signed contract and retainer are required to reserve your date. Once that’s received, your time is officially booked and locked in my calendar.

Do you offer touch-ups or stay-through services?

Yes! I offer hourly touch-ups or “look change” services for brides who’d like assistance through photos or an evening celebration. This is a popular add-on for City Hall couples heading to dinner afterward.

Do you travel outside San Francisco?

Yes, I travel for weddings throughout Northern California. Travel fees are based on mileage and location, and overnight accommodations may be required for early start times or distant venues.
